This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit our website, request a quote, sign up for service, communicate with us, use our client portal, or otherwise interact with Yard Marshal.

We may also automatically receive limited technical information when you use our website or online services, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and general website-usage information.
2. Payment Information
Yard Marshal uses third-party payment-processing services to process credit and debit card payments.
When you provide payment information during signup or through the client portal, payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by our payment processor rather than stored by Yard Marshal.
We may receive limited payment-related information such as the payment method type, the last digits of a card, transaction amount, payment status, subscription status, invoices, refunds, disputes, and other transaction information necessary to administer your account.
We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
3. Information From Incomplete Signups
If you begin requesting a quote or signing up for Yard Marshal but do not complete the signup process, information that you already entered may be retained by our service-management platform and made available to us.
We may use that information to respond to your request, answer questions, understand why a signup was not completed, or follow up regarding the service you requested.
You are not required to purchase Yard Marshal services merely because you requested or viewed a quote.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
Provide quotes and determine available services and pricing.
Create and manage customer accounts.
Schedule recurring and one-time cleanups.
Plan and optimize service routes.
Provide Yard Marshal personnel with information reasonably necessary to safely and properly service your property.

Maintain your card-on-file billing arrangement through our payment processor.
Communicate with you regarding appointments, service days, route changes, access issues, payments, weather delays, account activity, and other service-related matters.

Maintain business, accounting, tax, operational, and transaction records.
Detect or prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity.
Enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.

Analyze and improve our website, signup process, customer experience, marketing, routing, and services.
Measure how customers discover Yard Marshal and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising or marketing campaigns.

5. Property and Pet Information
Because Yard Marshal personnel enter residential yards, certain property and pet information is important for safe and reliable service.
We may collect information including gate locations, access codes, gated-community information, dog doors, dog behavior, service-area notes, and other property instructions.
We use this information primarily to perform services, protect customers and animals, provide safe access to properties, and help Yard Marshal personnel complete visits correctly.
Customers should avoid submitting confidential information that is unrelated to Yard Marshal services.
6. Service Providers
We use third-party companies to help operate Yard Marshal.
These may include:
Squarespace, which hosts and operates our public website.
Sweep&Go, which assists with customer onboarding, quotes, customer records, scheduling, routing, billing administration, notifications, and the client portal.
Stripe or another approved payment processor, which processes payment-card and transaction information.
We may also use email, text-message, communications, analytics, advertising, accounting, banking, insurance, cloud-storage, professional-services, and other operational providers.
These providers may receive personal information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for Yard Marshal or as otherwise permitted by law.
Third-party providers maintain their own privacy and security practices and may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.
7. When We May Share Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers that assist in operating Yard Marshal; payment processors and financial institutions involved in transactions; accountants, attorneys, insurers, consultants, and other professional advisers; government agencies, courts, law enforcement, or regulators when disclosure is required or permitted by law; parties involved in investigating fraud, security incidents, threats, or violations of our agreements; and a successor or prospective successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of Yard Marshal's business.

8. Sale of Personal Information
Yard Marshal does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
We do not knowingly sell sensitive personal information.
We do not sell customer phone numbers, email addresses, property-access information, or pet information to data brokers.
If Yard Marshal later uses advertising or analytics technologies that are legally considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under an applicable privacy law, we will provide any notices and choices required by that law.
9. Text Messages and Mobile Information
If you provide a mobile number and select text-message notifications, Yard Marshal and service providers acting on our behalf may send transactional messages related to your account or services.
These may include arrival notifications, service-completed notifications, schedule changes, access problems, billing notices, or customer-service communications.
Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and text-message consent will not be sold or provided to third parties for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.

Consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is not a condition of purchasing Yard Marshal services.

Where permitted, we may also send promotional or informational emails.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using any available unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent us from sending important transactional or service-related communications.

Such photographs are used for operational, quality-control, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Yard Marshal will not intentionally use identifiable photographs of a customer's home, property, pets, or personal belongings for advertising or promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
14. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer customer accounts, maintain business and transaction records, satisfy tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal requirements, and protect our legitimate business interests.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to legal obligations, backup systems, and legitimate record-retention requirements.

Yard Marshal does not intentionally request Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, biometric identifiers, or other highly sensitive personal information as part of ordinary pet-waste-removal services.
Please do not submit such information through our website, signup form, client portal, email, or comments fields.
Property-access codes should only be provided when necessary for Yard Marshal to access your property.
19. Children's Privacy
Yard Marshal services are intended for adults arranging services for residential properties.
Our website and online services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
20. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website, customer onboarding process, emails, or client portal may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
Yard Marshal does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties.
